The importance of consistency in Life.

The importance of consistency in health, wealth, and relationships or any other area of your life is the most pivotal thing for your success.

You may do great things for a day or two but if you aren’t consistent with it you might not witness the expected greatness as your result.

.

Anybody can do simple things but if you observe it is these simple things that you aren’t consistent at. The simple thing that you can do easily is also the thing that you can’t do easily.

.

Take any area of your life in which you are good and you will see that you have developed a prodigious level of consistency in it. There is a habit, discipline, routine or ritual behind that success.

.

Similarly, if you aren’t consistent it is the exact opposite of it. Success is way far than it seems and thus the importance of consistency in life is much greater than you think.

.

Consistency in terms of health and the magic it brings:

When you are consistent and disciplined enough with your healthy eating habit and exercise you will see the magic of consistency.

.

Many people ask “when will I get the results”? There is no perfect answer for it and that’s the reason one needs to be consistent and patient both.

.

 But, if you change your thinking from a short term health goal to a life long journey you will reap the benefits of the change in thinking which automatically makes you consistent and patient in the journey.

.

Fitness is a journey and not any short-term goal. When you start thinking of it this way instead of keeping unrealistic goals you will not only be consistent (If you are serious enough) but also enjoy the process.

.

Boredom hits at a certain point but that’s the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people. Successful people show up and are consistent even when they are super bored.

.

Keeping realistic goals and then breaking them down in their miniature form will help you to enjoy the process whether it be health, wealth, or any other area of your life.

.

Start super small so that it is super easy to be consistent. Don’t think of taking a big leap in those areas in which you previously failed to be consistent.

.

With time, habits and consistency compounds and starts showing the magic of compounding. Meanwhile, celebrate small wins and do not forget that small wins when compounded leads to staggering results.

The Art of Consistency and why most people aren’t consistent:

Consistency is an art and the one who masters it is an artist.

.

I believe that once you learn this art or start practising this art you can win like anything. Victory is guaranteed.

.

This art is difficult because many people make it complex. Whereas, the nature of the art truly is extremely simple. YOU JUST HAVE TO DO IT.

.

When people start something new, they tend to start with full force and then a couple of weeks later when they don’t see any results they quit. The art is exactly the opposite.

.

This art has only two rules. START SLOW AND MAKE THE TASK SUPER EASY.

When you start slow and make things easy you tend to stay for a longer period because then you don’t get exhausted/bored/over-expect and when you stay for a longer period (be consistent) you start to see the magic it brings.

So, remember this rule and focus on the process rather than the result.

Why consistency is the only key:

So, you’ve heard/seen the quote “consistency is the key”. I paraphrased it to “Consistency is the only key!”

.

WHY?

.

Because like I said before take –  any area of your life. Whether you are good at something or bad at something it’s because of the word “Consistency”.

.

You were consistent at being both good and bad at a particular activity.

.

For example, I was lazy before and didn’t exercise at all so I was unfit and unhealthy

Why? Because I was consistent at being lazy. I was consistent at choosing the couch and eating junk VS choosing a gym and eating healthfully.

.

So, the only way to be healthy and fit was to be consistent at choosing a gym and eating healthfully VS choosing the couch and junk.

.

So, 6 years later when I chose to be consistent at choosing gym over the couch I am finally healthy and fit.

.

Figure out where you are good and bad and then you will know that you are CONSISTENT at both of the things. Hence, consistency is the only key to change the future. Choose consistency for more good things than bad things.

.

Ultimately, the choice is yours and the fight is yours. You create your life.
